Alice Sebra Oliver, 88, of Bertrand died peacefully surrounded by her family on August 1, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John R and Cora G. Sebra. .

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Oliver Taft (Lawrence); her son, Gary W. Oliver (Kelly); two grandchildren, Melanie Brockavich (Chris) and Morgan B. Oliver (Heather); her great grandson, Nicholas Grenier; her sisters, Lottie Gill, Catherine Ashburn, Thelma Rowe and Delma Rose; her brother, Franklin Sebra and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Oliver; her sisters, Emma Beane and Marie Shriver and her brothers, Robert, John, Eldon and James Sebra.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
