Benjamin T. Keyser, 61, of Weems, Va., formerly of Burgess, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2016. He was the son of the late Willie Andrew Keyser and Helen Ashburn Keyser.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Gaines Keyser; two sons, Benjamin A. Keyser (Kasie) and Willie P. Keyser; his grandson, James T. Keyser; sisters, Willie Mae Wickramsinghe of Callao and Ida Elizabeth Hawkins of Michigan; his brother, Leland Andrew Keyser of Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Marie Keyser.

Benjamin worked as a painter and carpenter alongside his Dad until his Dad's death, then he worked with the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority for eleven years and most recently he was employed in the Maintenance Department at Wal-Mart.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p. m. Sunday, April 17 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
