Doris E. Pearce, 87, of Mollusk, Virginia passed away on November 6, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Franklin Pearce; son, Franklin David Pearce (Jane); daughter, Dawn E. Pearce-Walls (Robert) and three grandchildren, Autumn Sno Waldron, Sydney Walls and Christopher Pearce. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Waldron.

Doris was a loving, caring and patient wife , mother and grandmother. She was a "tomboy", as she taught her kids to climb trees and she was the one that taught her husband about flying and sailing.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, November 19 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
