Obituary for Travis Stuart Taylor

Travis Stuart  Taylor
Travis Stuart Taylor, of Reedville, passed into God's hand on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 25.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Taylor of Reedville; his siblings, Courtney Scullin of New Hope, Minnesota, Amanda Hunter Taylor of Williamsburg and Montgomery Taylor of Richmond; his grandparents, Mary and Leicester Cook of Williamsburg; his uncles, Donald Taylor of Pensacola, Florida and Doug Cook of Williamsburg; his aunt Leslie Wilson of Winchester and his fiancé, Savannah Waters of Independence, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his father, George Arthur Taylor.

Travis was born on December 27, 1990 in Fairfax County, Virginia. He attended Christchurch School and Northumberland High School. He found his passion in building and creating in the construction field. Travis also enjoyed volunteering his time at the Northumberland County Animal Shelter.

Travis was known to his friends and family as an extremely kind and generous soul who was always up for an adventure. He found comfort in his faith in God and in the love of his family and friends. He will never be forgotten by the people who were lucky enough to cross his path.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Currie Funeral Home, 116 E. Church St., Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
