Jean Hudnall Gill Hooper passed away December 12, 2016. She was born February 19, 1930,daughter of Palmer and Ethel Hudnall. She was preceded in death by her son, Leland Calvin "Lee" Gill, Jr. and her husbands, Leland Calvin Gill, Sr. and W. E. Hooper, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Gill Deihl; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Deihl, Wendy Deihl, Katie Walker, Scott Gill, Sarah Pittman, and Clay Gill, as well as four great grandchildren, Claire Walker, Ben Pittman, Isabella Gill and Samuel Gill.
A long time lover of the outdoors, she loved her life on Gnatty Point....crabbing, gardening and being with friends and family at the Crabhouse on Dividing Creek. She also loved the game of golf...picking it up in her later years, and becoming a championship player. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15th at Currie Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Rehoboth Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7p. m. Wednesday, December 14th at the funeral home.
