Lloyd Franklin Cooke, Jr. 90, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on April 5,2017.
He was born on January 14, 1927. He was a WWII Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mamie Parks Cooke; two sons, Allen Boyd Cooke (Charlotte) and Robert W. Cooke (Dorothy); eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Julia Powell. Mr. Cooke was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Franklin Cooke; two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Monday, April 10 at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment will follow the service at Corrottoman Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Sunday, April 9 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
