Yolanda Tunnell Reid, 74, of Weems, VA, originally from Coeburn, VA, passed away on August 15, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Erika Reid Parquet of Raleigh, NC; sister Pauline Gibson of Elkton, MD and several treasured nephews and nieces. Yolanda was preceded in death by her husband, David MacPherson Reid. She was a graduate of the Johnston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Abingdon, VA and worked as a devoted Registered Nurse in geriatrics for 43 years. No formal services are planned. Her family requests that Yolanda be remembered as the lovely, caring and compassionate lady she was in life.
