Barbara J. Bryant, 75, of Locust Grove, Virginia passed away on September 15, 2017. She retired after 30 years of service as a Legislative Assistant for the U. S. Department of Agriculture.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward Lee Bryant; two sons, Wayne Bryant (Sheryl) and Gary Bryant (Demetria) and two grandchildren, Morgan Bryant and William Bryant.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems, Virginia. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
