Condolence: I was one of "Miss Maycock's" sixth grade students in Missouri, and I want to let you know that we all loved her (as attested by the emails that have been circulating today). She was a unique teacher -- with generous enthusiasm and creativity that made every class a pleasure. I have always remembered her with great fondness.

Condolence: I have just today learned of Evelyn's passing. My deepest sympathy to her family. She was a wonderful woman and a great neighbor to me and my daughters in Manassas. We so enjoyed the last time we visited her - we will miss her.
