Obituary for Robert Sellars "Bob" Whittington
Robert S. Whittington, 76, of Weems, Virginia passed away on March 11, 2018. He was a member of Claybrook Baptist Church and he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Whittington; daughters, Cynthia W. Lester and Elizabeth M. Whittington; three grandchildren, Jessica Lester, Evan Lester and Payton Jablonowski ; a sister, Carolyn Poteat (Tom) and his beloved pets, Max, Colby, Jinks and Callie. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. J. and Mildred Whittington.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p. m. Wednesday, March 14 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
