John "Buddy" Linwood Tellis, Jr., born 9/3/41 of Richmond, Va. passed away on July11, 2018 unexpectedly. He was a US Army Veteran and was retired from Philip Morris. He is survived by his siblings, Charles E. Tellis of Jacksonville, FL, Betty T. Sangster (Bill), Phyllis T. Herriges, both of Richmond, Va and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Linwood Tellis, Sr., and Annie Smith Tellis, his sister, Shirley Jean Barnes, niece Lisa Marie Tellis and nephew,Keith Edward Tellis. A graveside service will be held on July 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Irvington Baptist Church.
