Obituary for Ronald Rice "Ronnie" Pouchot
Ronald Rice Pouchot, 80, of Kilmarnock, Virginia died on August 3, 2018. He was a Marine Corp veteran, a member of Kilmarnock Baptist Church and past Chief for the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by two children, Colette Hudson (Billy) of Kilmarnock and Troy Pouchot of Gloucester; grandchildren, Rebecca, Mathew, and Joshua (Ashly) Hudson and Erika Wilmoth (Robert); great grandchildren, Rylyn and Luke Wilmoth and Lydia Hudson; sister, Ginger Fagles (Richard)of Maryland; sister-in-law, Marian Pouchot of Gloucester and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years,Roberta W. Pouchot; his parents, Ed and Helen Pouchot and his brother, Rev. David Pouchot.
Ronnie was a retired salesman for T. W. Bonner, Inc. In his post retirement ,he worked for Ransone's Nursery.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Kilmarnock Baptist, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p. m. Monday, August 6 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
