Obituary for Kathryn Ann Akers (Barton)
Kathryn Barton Akers, 71, of Lynchburg died on September 19, 2018. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School.
Surviving are her son, George D. Akers, III (Cathy) of James Store, Va.; brother, Earl Barton and wife, Jo Ann Barton of Lancaster; two sisters, Joan Barton and husband, Warren Chapman of Chesterfield, Barbara Gifford and husband, David of Lynchburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23 at Farnham Baptist Church Cemetery, Farnham with Rev. David Comer officiating.
