Obituary for Virginia Cooper Dawson "Jennie (Ginnie)" Beebe (Dawson)
Virginia Cooper Dawson Beebe,96, of Fredericksburg, formerly a longtime resident of White Stone, Virginia, passed away on October 7, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth B. Schlickenmaier (Greg), Louisa B. Quesenberry (Kenneth), Virginia B. Veillette (Tom) and John W. Beebe (Beth);10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a sister, Louisa D. Smucker (John). She was preceded in death by her husband, John Beebe and her parents, Philip and Louisa Dawson.
Jennie (Ginnie) spent her formative years in Lynchburg, Va., where she was born. After graduating from Randolph-Macon Womans College (Lynchburg), she moved to Alexandria, Va. She married and raised her family there before retiring to White Stone.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, October 12,2018 at Historic Christ Church Burying Grounds, Irvington, Va.
