Mark Alan Parsley passed away at his home on November 13, 2018. He was 60 years old.

While born in Ohio, Mark spent most of his adult life in Florida, playing competitive tennis at Fort Lauderdale High School and later at Indian River State College.

He retired as president of Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaners of Broward County, Fla., and later resided in Okeechobee, Fla., with his wife and father.

In 2013, he and his mother moved from Florida to Kilmarnock to join his sister, Lori, in their mother's care as she suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

While living in Kilmarnock, Mark became a member of Kilmarnock Baptist Church and volunteered at the local food bank until his medical conditions prevented him from doing so.

Mark is survived by his wife, Melissa Behar of Palm Beach, Fla., and sister Lori Giberson of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Aubrey Parsley and his mother, Tina Moore Gomer.

There will be a brief memorial service at 4pm Friday, December 7 at Kilmarnock Baptist Church, 65 Church Street, Kilmarnock.
