Obituary for James Preston "J. P. " Bryant Sr.
James Preston " J.P." Bryant, Sr., 88, of Heathsville, Virginia passed away on July 6, 2018. He was retired from VDOT.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ethel L. Bryant; three sons, Preston Bryant, Jr. (Betty), Mark L. Bryant and Kim H. Bryant (Angela); nine grandchildren, Cindy Lee, Holly, April, Matthew, Kayla, Jesse, Robyn, Carol and Johnny; eleven great grandchildren; one great -great grandson; son-in-law, Eddie Lipscomb and a sister, Katherine Wilkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James Bryant and Agnes Estelle Bryant and his daughter, Kaye Marie Lipscomb.
He loved to travel and greatly enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Wicomico United Methodist Church.
