Obituary for Elizabeth Voss "Beth" Moore
Elizabeth "Beth" Voss Moore, 63, of Weems, Virginia passed away on September 11, 2018 after a courageous 31/2 year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Jack Allen and Franklin Rhett Moore; grandson, Troy Gabrial Allen; granddaughter, Natalie Marie Allen; niece, Jennifer Routt Clark (Danny); cousin, Cliff Voss (Cliff) and a very close friend, Susan Smither. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Gaines Voss and Franklin Curtis Voss; husband, Rhett N. Moore and her son, Christopher James Allen.
Beth was a lifetime member of Claybrook Baptist Church. She was a longtime substitute teacher and paraprofessional for Lancaster County Public Schools. She was a avid Elton John fan and greatly enjoyed his concerts.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems, Va. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p. m. Thursday, September 20 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
