Condolence: Mentor. Caregiver for all the family. Quick to jump in and help with adverse situations and celebrate good times. Happy to host gatherings with good food and whip up a batch of classic whiskey sours. Storyteller extraordinaire with his detailed memory of even childhood events. Wide ranging interests and talents. History lover—antiques, old homes, books. Politically active patriot. Veteran. Card shark. Builder. Animal lover. Amusing, smart, inventive, caring. Altogether, our beloved Larry. We miss you.
Condolence: It's hard to express just how kind, caring and giving both Mr. and Mrs. Elston have been to us for most of our lives. Mr. Elston was the kind of man any young man could only hope to emulate. Someone once told me that no one feels unwelcome in our house. While I took that as a great compliment, it also reminded me who I learned that from. Thank you Larry for all the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and all the countless other occasions you allowed us to share with you.
Condolence: Sorry for your loss. May the bereaved family find comfort through prayerful reliance on Jehovah, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He invites you to throw your anxieties on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6, 7; Psalms 55:22; 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.
