Nancy Taylor Young, 59, of White Stone, a loving wife and mother died on Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was a member of Irvington United Methodist Church and a graduate of Braxton Business School and Rappahannock Community College. Nancy was a former member of the Northern Neck State Bank Board of Directors, served on the Board of Directors for the Northern Neck Orchestra and was a former member of the Northumberland County Woman’s Club. She was a docent at the Reedville Fisherman’s Museum in Reedville, member of the Burgess Business Association and the Leader of the Girl’s Night Out Club.
Surviving are her husband, Craig W. Young; a daughter, Dorothy Sarah Elizabeth Cockrell of Glebe Point; a son, Taylor Tiffany Cockrell and wife, Sara Brown Cockrell of Wicomico Church.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Irvington United Methodist Church, Irvington with Rev. Jarvis Bailey officiating. Interment Private.
