I will never forget our class trip to Williamsburg during the summer before our Senior year at Tappahannock High School.  We were lodged in one of the William and Mary dorms.  After everyone was  settled in for the night a group of eight of us, including Jean Hope, crawled out of the windows and went for a late night snack at the nearby  Indian Grill.  We had to boost each other up to crawl back into the window.  The last person got back in by someone sneaking out the room to open the dorm door.  I don't know why we didn't get caught.  No one believed us the next day when we told of our adventure.  I remember Jean Hope as a beautiful, fun-loving person.  May she rest in peace.
