Iris Hearold Smith, 91, of Kilmarnock, Virginia passed away December 30, 2017.

She is survived by her sons, George A. "Mike" Smith, Jr. and James David Smith both of Kilmarnock; four granddaughters, Shelley Skeete (Jeff) , Rachel Ripley (John), Megan Ihlefeld and Sarah Elizabeth Creech (Morri); 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Helen H. Mitchell and three brothers, Sonny Hearold, Wesley Hearold and Bud Lee Hearold.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Irvington United Methodist Church, Irvington , Virginia with Rev. Ray Massie officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
